  4. Round two of the Tipp-Experience experience on youtube. Some nice extra details added into this one. type in 1983 for some spraypainting, 1980 for bear-pacman, 2000 for millenium bug and a load more funny skits im sure.

  5. Impressive PR stunt for the launch of TNT Belgium. A red button that ‘creates drama’ was placed in a street waiting for someone to push it, watch the video and see what happened. I wonder if something like this could be pulled off in the UK with all the health and safety etc.

  6. Durex - In Sync

  7. Chevy Sonic Campaign

To launch there new car Chevy set a series of stunts which ranged from launching one of there cars off a 100 foot structure through 2.4 million user clicks on a website, kickflipping it over a skateboard and being the catalyst of a music video with OK go.

  8. Saul Bass Pitch - Bell System Logo

Nice insights into a well rounded persuasive pitch

  9. Digital Trends

Nice overview of Digital Trends from Mashables Pete Cashmore

One thats caught my attention recently is the second screen experiences, especialy when it comes to media owners and sponsorship where clients are looking to ad another layer of value for their audience during sporting events, TV etc such as Disney’s second screen lion king app that listens to the audio of the blue ray to keep it in sync with what’s going on on-screen, Heineken’s great example for engaging the audience of the UEFA Champions League & MTV’s ‘additive experience’ with their WatchWith app

All these go on the premise that multitasking is more and more present with the increasing accessibility to the web through lap/hand held devices, in this sense they are tapping into to that desire to stay connected and channelling it with the brand. The key is for the second screen to not distract but to add to the experience.

  10. Tablets and the Future
There is lots of noise going on following Amazons kindle fire release, here are a couple of articles that i found particularly interesting.
Financial Times - http://goo.gl/3VJJt
Monday Note - http://goo.gl/dj3cD
Both highlight the difference in approach between apple and amazon, including the use of advertising as a subsidy for the hardware, which leads to the speculation of free tablets, could tablets be made so cheap that a two year subscription alone would come with the device on which you read it being a free tablet, extending the future possibility of there being one format for all content?
